Flyers to honor Cherry Hill boy: South Jersey Courier Post
A simple act of kindness from a family friend has led to 12-year-old Sean Taylor being honored by the Flyers tonight as a community hero. Sean first experienced symptoms of MS -- vomiting, dizziness and headaches -- when he was 7. Through rehabilitation he regained all of his motor skills and returned to participating in baseball and swimming. However, those same symptoms returned in May 2005 and when lesions were found on his brain, he was diagnosed with MS. Sean now receives weekly injections of avonex to help prevent similar episodes.MORE: South Jersey Courier Post |
