TuesdayAVONEX TIP #15
I have also had the same problem, I call them chills times 100.
Mine hurt soo bad. I take 2 excedrine and 2 aleve at the time of
my shot and then take a tylenol w/codeine at bedtime to "relieve"
the symptoms. I have talked with my neuro and Biogen and they
have both said that I am just "extra sensitive" to the meds. They
also told me that it can take up to a full year for some people to
get used to the med, and because of the benefits I am willing to
stay on it for a year and hope that the symptoms will subside. Take care and know that you are not alone with the "shocking chills". Posted by Sara Labels: Avonex |
